Soles of Silk - sunflower field

I love when my models ask me if they can do a certain them, or location for their sets. When Emerald pitched the idea to do one in a sunflower field, I was totally game. Some of our friends had taken some photos in the days leading up to Emerald asking me, so the idea was one I had thought about too.
The thing that sucks about sunflowers, however, you have a real brief time to get them when they're at their fullest bloom and looking their prettiest. Sadly, Emerald and I must have gotten to them a day or two late because we found quite a few wilted ones. Nevertheless, we did the set and made it work!
I can say this wasn't the easiest place to shoot. There wasn't any place for Emerald to sit down and kick her feet up where you could clearly see the flowers high above. We walked around the field for a while and found a few spots though. No matter what, however, I still say the prettiest thing in the field was Emerald and the best smelling was her feet!
