Description:About a year ago I found some interesting pictures online while looking for locations for sets. One of those was an old bridge that had been closed and turned into a pedestrian bridge as part of a trail. When Mindee and I got together recently for some new photos, I showed her the links I found and we both agreed that we should head out there to shoot.
When we arrived we discovered the bridge had never been opened to pedestrians, at least as of yet. I'm guessing funding had been cut because on the approach there are plaques for people to read some historic information, but right next to those are metal barricades to keep people from passing. Needless to say, we ignored those and shot anyhow.
Even though Mindee was uneasy this entire shoot (you can see the water 150 feet below straight through the grating of the bridge), she pulled off one of her best shoots yet. She started off in wedge sandals before baring those very dirty soles. She was worried that they were too dirty, but I assured her that some of you love a good dirty foot set.
