Description:This set, with Reagan, is perhaps one of the longest sets that I've ever shot when you go elapsed time. You see, we drove a little over an hour down to a botanical garden to shoot. On the way to the garden, we stopped at a small scenic park for a set. We got 23 photos into the set when some massive rain drops began to fall from the skies above. We ran back to my car, which was parked right in front of a Pokestop in the Pokemon Go app. We figured we'd just wait for the rain to pass and get right back to shooting. Although the day was overcast, it really wasn't calling for rain. If it was, I wouldn't have driven so far to do a shoot.
Fast forward almost two hours of sitting in my car and the rain is finally passing. Why didn't we just call it a day and go home, you may be asking? Well, after driving over an hour and being in the Washington, D.C. region during rush hour, I decided to just wait it out and see if we could shoot instead of waiting out on the highway to go home. My call was correct and you'll see starting in photo 24 just how wet everything was in all the photos. The wait wasn't bad either as it also provided some foot rub time. That's never a bad thing!
