Soles of Silk - awakening statue

Back in 2014 I shot Olivia's "Back to Business" feature set for Wu's Feet Links. We shot the set at National Harbor, just outside of Washington, D.C. Since then, I have shot down in that area a few times. One of those times was with Camille. Since 2014, however, there has been one set that I had been itching to shoot from that area beyond all others. It is a set in front of a statue called "The Awakening" that emerges from the sand on the beach. Why have I always wanted to shoot in front of this statue, you ask? Well, because of the large foot coming out of the sand.
When Camille and I went down to National Harbor we were lucky in that not too many people were around the statue. It also wasn't super hot, so we could do some sets with her even placing her size 7's on the much bigger foot emerging from the sand. I really think Camille looked adorable shooting this set.
