Description:There are days where I meet up with Mindee to do photos and we have clue what we are going to shoot, or where we are going to go. This was one of those days, and like so many other times, we came away with some memorable photos. Mindee has said it for years, but we do some of our best work when we're just spontaneous.
Mindee and I had already shot a set prior to this one and had time to squeeze in another. We were walking around the park we were in and after about five minutes we saw something out of the ordinary. A large portion of the grassy area was flooded due to recent rain. That area led into a swampy region where people had placed a bunch of wooden stumps. They were just far enough apart for people to be able to step on them to stay out of some of the thickest, gooiest mud I've ever had in a shoot.
Mindee saw me looking and knew she was about to get her feet muddy. She wasn't looking forward to it, but she also knew we couldn't pass up such an amazing setting.
