Soles of Silk - yards park bridge

For a few years I had been wanting to shoot one of my models in front of a foot bridge along the D.C. waterfront area. I had first saw the location when going to D.C. to watch a Washington Nationals game and we parked in a nearby lot. Ashlyn and I went to the spot to shoot her Longboard set, but we didn't use the bridge. Instead we shot on some benches a little up that same pathway.
When Mindee and I went to D.C. a few years after Ashlyn and I, the bridge was immediately on my agenda. Mindee loved the preview photos I sent her of the spot and we made plans to use it as one of our locations.
Once we arrived, we began the set on a few large rocks to show the bridgespan in the background. Eventually, however, I had a barefoot Mindee posing her size 8's on the bridge itself. Both spots we used gave some amazing angles to showcase her ever popular feet. I couldn't have been more happier with how the set came out after wanting to shot there for so long.
