Soles of Silk - tie dye longboard

I absolutely love when my models come up with their own themes and ideas for their shoots. I always ask them to tell me things they enjoy in hopes that it will inspire a future shoot. That's what happened with this one featuring Ashlyn with her longboard.
After Ashlyn came up with the longboard idea, I began thinking of locations that would lend themselves to the theme and a spot in Washington, D.C., a few blocks from National Stadium popped into my mind. I showed Ashlyn photos of the spot and she liked it just as much as I did.
Another thing I liked about this set was knowing I'd be able to get Ashlyn in some socks, specifically knee high socks, and some sneakers. Since Ashlyn's little feet can get quite smelly, and I'm a huge fan of that, it was just a theme I knew was going to click - and click it did! I just kept shooting photos and didn't even realize we did more than 100 until we finished!
