Soles of Silk - zipper heels

The last time Kimmie and I got together to do some photos the weather couldn't make up its mind on if it wanted to be sunny or if it wanted to thunderstorm. It would go from cloudy to bright minute to minute and then the skies would let loose with a ton of rain. Before you knew it, sunny again.
Waiting to do our planned outdoor set, we decided to do a set inside while we waited. Kimmie took me upstairs and showed me a vast collection of shoes to use. She got really excited over a new pair, a purple pair with a zipper running down the sides. As soon as I saw them, I said, "bring'em downstairs."
With the weather still going back and forth outside, we decided to shoot right a pair of large glass doors. The light coming through put some unique lighting on a good number of photos and really made her gold painted toenails shimmer at times. And oh yeah, Kimmie's tiny size 5 feet, which got a little warm in those shoes, looked so adorable peeking out before they were bare.
