Description:Sometimes a shoot just doesn't go as planned. No matter how good the setting and how great the model, things just don't work out. This set, which is only 35 picture, is one such set. It ended up being cut short, but I wanted to still share what we were able to get that day for all of you.
The setting for this set is on Jefferson Rock, an area that looks out over the historic town of Harpers Ferry in West Virginia. I had seen some great pictures online taken from this spot and right after entering the area, Aspen and I made the long walk up the steps that led up the mountain. When we got there we were alone. We began shooting, but shortly into the set people just kept coming. As soon as they'd leave, someone else would come up. Generally this doesn't bother me, but the area was just too small. If we shot, there would be people in the picture frame, or just too close for comfort.
Being out on the rocks also led to some very harsh sunlight too. After sitting around waiting for people to leave, we just decided to cut it short and move on.
