Soles of Silk - strawberry cake 2019 remaster

I knew when I decided to tackle doing remasters of all the original 2004 sets as part of Soles of Silk's 15 Year Anniversary Celebration that I was going to be dealing with a couple of sets that were going to pose some problems. The set you see below, the remaster of Madison's 2004 Strawberry Cake set, was one of those that I was worried about.
You see, 15 years ago I did not have the photography skill, equipment, or Photoshop knowledge that I do now. Although this set starts off with good light and color, by the end, things get a little "off," for a lack of better terms. Some of the shots were washed out with reds, or even void of color saturation. I tried my best to bring some of those colors out and mute some of the strong reds in the others.
Even though this set was one I knew would be hard to remaster, I still wanted it ready for Valentine's Day 2019. I thought it would be the perfect set to remaster for the holiday. It sure was a lovely set to shoot all the way back in 2004. Madison and I loved every minute of it and made such the mess. She wasn't the only one who got a taste either!
