Soles of Silk - mildred belle restoration

There are two things Mindee and I just love to do together and that is take photos and go to amusement parks. So naturally, when we were in the midsts of planning a multi-day trip to Kings Island in Ohio in 2017, we had to do some planning. That meant getting together and getting together in 2017 often meant taking photos. Even if we didn't have a theme or location in mind, we just went with whatever we came up with on the fly and this was one such set.
Mindee was meeting me after she got off work. I drove downtown an hour earlier and began scouting out the area by the restaurant we decided to hit up that evening to discuss our trip. One of the spots I found was in front of an old boat that was up on a dry dock. The boat was being restored and luckily for me, the sun was starting to go down to where I could shoot in the best direction to get some of it in the background. There also happened to be some concrete seating areas right there as well. It allowed me to get right up into two of the prettiest soles I've ever gazed upon, and ones that I've gazed up on so many times before, but never grow tired of seeing.
