Louise had this to say about ethnicity and Afrocentricity, "Why is it not expected of me to be as or more passionate about my other ethnic descents? Is it the tone of my skin? The texture of my hair? The curvature of my body? A combination of the three? I ask these questions to enforce the idea that I would not label myself as Afrocentric. My African decent is more so part of what I am, than who I am."
