Soles of Silk - boardwalk sandals

When Aspen and I made a trip to the beach to shoot this set, I immediately fell in love with her sandals that she wanted to wear in this set. And with those teal toenails peeking out, talk about pure cuteness!
Wanting to do a set on the boardwalk in Seaside Heights, we began down at the southern end. This area wasn't commercial with shops and amusements and I loved how the large dunes could be seen in the background. The other benefit was that there wasn't really many people down this part of the boardwalk. Most of those who passed were jogging. As we shot this set, however, one woman did manage to give Aspen some pose advice telling her to bend a little more. That gave us a laugh.
Minus the wind that would play havock on every set we did this day, I loved how this set came out. It was the first one on the day and I just found the colors to pop so much!
