Soles of Silk - palm tree flip flops

Although this isn't the first set published of Melani's, it was the first one she ever shot. I always like to keep things simple for a first set so a model can get the feel of shooting and see what it's like. When I picked her up that day, she looked cute as a button and was wearing this outfit. I told her to just go with that and her first set will be with flip flops.
We found a small covered overlook by a marsh and no one was around. I thought it would make for a good spot since Melani was new to this. She wouldn't be on display for all to see - at least for this first set.
It was so fun watching Melani learn and react to my pose recommendations. The best was when I asked her to spread her toes. Those itty bitty piggies didn't wanna separate. I stuck my fingers between them and told her to make them look like this, without my fingers though. As much as she tried, they only popped open a little bit. Still, it was so cute and Melani was on her way to loving to shoot for Soles of Silk.
