Soles of Silk - pastels

I first met Wendy while in art school. We shared a number of classes together and we became friends. During my college days, I was also taking foot photos and doing foot centered artwork. I had been mostly shooting photos of my then girlfriend Abby, but began taking photos of some of my other friends and classmates. Wendy was one of these friends.
Since we met in art school, I told Wendy that we had to do a set based on our days in art school. I brought over a box of chalk pastels and she broke out a drawing tablet. Wendy doodled on the pad and then began rubbing the pastels on those adorable size 8 soles. She went blue on one and orange on the other - an ode to our color theory instructor, using compliments.
By the end of the set we were getting silly as Wendy began writing fun messages on her feet. And after this set was over, Wendy sure had some messy feet. I took some photos of her cleaning up, which I'll post at a later date.
