Soles of Silk - railroad spikes

This set, while very artistic, was a pain in the butt to shoot. It was the end of summer when Ryan and I shot this. She wanted to do something with train tracks and I had told her about the area where I shot Cierra for her Blue Train Bridge set years prior. I recommended we go further down the tracks for hers though. She was game and we made our way there.
When we got there all was fine at first. Within a few shots Ryan began swatting at mosquitos. I wasn't sensing any around me, but that didn't take long to change either. Not too far away from this location is a big marshy swamp area and I guess Ryan tasted too damn good to pass up. When we finished this set, Ryan's legs were covered in bug bites. We actually ended up cutting this set shorter than I had wanted to because of the mosquiots. It was just getting to be impossible for her to pose without them all over.
I did tell Ryan we should go back to this location in the snow, but we really haven't gotten any of it this winter. I'm not mad about having no snow, but I think it would make a great shoot.
