Soles of Silk - new year 2013

While talking to Alaynah online about doing some photos for the site in 2013, I looked at my calendar and told her if she had some time to squeeze it in, I could get her in for the New Year's Day update for the site. She loved the idea. I debuted Keira four years ago, in a 2009 New Year's update, as well. I figured it was a good idea to do so again.
After stopping for a pedicure, Alaynah helped me get her first ever set ready. She blew up the tie-dye balloons while I hung all the streamers and threw stuff all over the floor. We really tried to go for a colorful set and we surely succeded. I thought the balloons were a nice touch too since I really only did one set with balloons in all these years - Kellie's Window Balloons set.
Before we shot I had asked Alaynah if she could spread her toes. She assured me she could and couldn't wait to show me. The first time she spread them in a photo, I told her she wasn't kidding. I loved the photos of her showing off her soft, smooth brown soles while she had those toes spread apart.
