Soles of Silk - dessert cakes

Before I had the chance to photograph Bethany, her friend Molly had told me she is on the shy side and I might have to work with her to get her to open up. So before Bethany arrived for her shoot I figured it was time to go to the store and buy something for her to step her size 8 feet into. Normally I let the girls pick the food they want to step in, but from all my experiences thus far, food shoota are always blast. The girls love doing them. What better way to get Bethany to open up?
When I told Bethany about the cake idea she smiled and seemed excited to give it a try. I gave her some instructions on what to expect since this was actually her first shoot with me. I had a feeling she'd do good.
Putting the plate on the counter and her sitting above, Bethany had a blast for 67 photos worth of cake smashing and I found out one thing early. She might be quiet, but Bethany sure picked up the foot teasing and modeling quickly. I knew she'd be a hit and when she wasn't looking, I stole a Ho-Ho and took a bite! =D
